So the choice is between these authoritarian a.sholes and a Labour Party that wants to send us back to the industrial relations dark ages... I think I've just made up my mind not to vote this time round.

What is worrying is it seems that this policy of search without warrant or warning is supported by many people. The lynch mob mentality is well and truly alive.

Everyone is torn up about the idea of someone having fewer human rights. A convict in jail has fewer rights than a free man.
The only issue here is the lack of judicial process. It's a recipe for inevitable abuse.

Modern constitution's, devoid of the restraining impulse of judeau-christian values, will get corrupted by modern Marcusian power scrabblers. The EU constitution is a poignant case. EU constitution writers took the a god-given common-law "right", and inserted their grey souls as masters, and now we have the destruction of Europe. Equality for everyone, is equality in misery.
